I received my Grundig why be 500 radio yesterday evening and spent a great deal of time reacquainting myself with it. Due to your efforts it seems the original sensitivity and fidelity have been restored and the radio is performing as it did originally. Thank you very much. An interesting antidote that I hope and pray does not ever occur again but highlights the units capabilitys. I live in Enid Oklahoma which is about 90 miles north of Oklahoma City. During the Murra building bombing in Oklahoma City I was listening to a live interview with the Oklahoma City Fire Chief conducted by the BBC and being broadcast over a shortwave station in New Zealand.
